What Is eFax?

Our eFax solution empowers Mongotel Users to send and receive faxes electronically (directly to or from their email, through the use of a fax bridge, or via the Mongotel eFax portal). This unlimited service is great for healthcare providers, law offices, and a large variety of other use cases—and includes all the necessary encryptions.

What’s Included in the Mongotel eFax Package?

The purchase of an eFax subaccount includes:

  • One (1) User profile with a unique email address

  • One (1) local or toll-free fax number

  • Unlimited eFax usage1

  • All email-to-fax and fax-to-email features

  • A secure, online portal optimized for use on most devices

  • HIPAA-compliant end-to-end encryption

  • The ability to save contacts, tag faxes, produce reports, and more!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Can I have more than one User profile?

Yes. Fax to your heart’s content with as many User profiles as you need—for just a slight surcharge per additional profile or fax number.

Can I assign multiple Users to a single number?

Yes. Note that all Users assigned to a number will have access to all incoming/outgoing faxes sent to/from that number. If different Users need different access permissions, they’ll need different numbers.

Can I assign multiple numbers to a single User?

Yes. If a single User needs access to multiple eFax inboxes, they can be assigned multiple numbers. They can then select which number to send faxes from when creating an eFax.

Can I create a User profile without assigning a number to it?

Yes. This will restrict the User to only sending faxes. They will not be able to receive any faxes.
