Here’s How It’s Done!
Before you can send fax blasts on your eFax account, you will need to have that service enabled by your admin. We’re happy to connect at info@mongotel.com or (718) 942-9990 to do so for you!
Fax blasts are a great way to send multiple faxes to multiple recipients simultaneously, saving plenty of time and labor. But before we get in to how you can start sending fax blasts, let’s go over the two kinds of fax blasts that you can access with the help of Mongotel support.
Standard fax blasts allow you to send the same fax to more than 10 people at any time. This must be done through your eFax portal and cannot be done through email.
Dynamic fax blasts allow you to send multiple unique faxes to more than 10 people at any time. This must be done through your eFax portal and cannot be done through email.
Alright, now that that’s out of the way, here’s how to send fax blasts:
Step 1:Log in to your eFax account.
Enter your email and password and click “Sign In” to gain access to your eFax portal.
Step 2: Click the downward-facing arrow next to “Fax Blast.”
This will open the fax blast display, which shows your fax blast options.
If you do not see this section, fax blasts have not been enabled on your eFax account.
Step 3: Click “Next.”
Click “Next.”
Step 4 (optional): Click “Include Cover Page.”
Clicking this option will enable you to add a cover page to your faxes sent via the fax blast feature.
If you select this option, you will see a new option appear: “Include cover page with dynamic fields.” Select this option if you wish to send a cover page that changes for each recipient.
Step 5: Click “Next” again.
Click “Next.”
Step 6: Upload a CSV document with columns matching the required and optional columns shown in the option you selected for Step 5.
Once you have created your CSV document, you can either click and drag it over the blue-highlighted region or paste a URL and click “Upload.”
Step 7: Click “Next.”
Click “Next.”
Step 8: Upload the document(s) that you wish to send via the fax blast.
You can either click and drag the fax document over the blue-highlighted region or past a URL and click “Upload.”
Step 9: Click “Done.”
Clicking “Done” sends the fax blast.
Wrap-Up
And there you have it! Your fax blast should now be on its way to the list of addresses you included in your CSV in Step 6 and 7.
