How to Activate Your Account

Here at Mongotel, we make activating your account quick and easy. All you have to do is go into your email, look for the one sent by Account Services, and follow a few simple prompts.

Clients

The person who activates the account will become the main admin on your account. Of course, the account admin can be changed at any time in the future and other people can also be granted account admin status, so there’s no need to feel “locked in” to a single choice at this time.

Congratulations on making the decision to become a Mongotel Client. Now that the hard part (working in a world without Mongotel) is over, let’s move on to the easy stuff: activating your account.

Step 1: In the welcome email sent by Account Services (donotreply@mongopbx.net), click “Activate Now.”

Start by opening the email you used to register for an account with Mongotel. In your inbox, you should see a message entitled “Mongotel Account Activation” sent by Account Services (donotreply@mongopbx.net). Open that email, read it carefully, and click “Activate Now.”

Step 2: Verify your user profile information.

The first page you’ll see after Step 1 is the User Profile window. Double check that your information is correct and make any changes you see fit.

Step 3: Enter a new password into both password fields and then click “Next.”

It is possible to change your password at a later date.

To ensure that there aren’t any typos in your password, you must enter it twice (once for each field). Once you’re happy with your password, click “Next.”

Step 4: Verify your company information and click “Next.”

The next page you’ll see is the Company Info page. Just like in Step 2, double check that your information is correct and make any changes you see fit. When satisfied, click “Next.”

Step 5: Enter billing information for your account.

You’ve now arrived at the Billing Info page. Here is where you’ll enter your payment information, which will be billed to pay for any Mongotel services you request.

You have the option to automatically fill out your billing address by selecting “Same as Company Address” or you can manually enter a different address by selecting “Use a Different Address.” The same goes for your billing contact information.

Mongotel accepts all major credit and debit cards.

Step 6: Check the box next to “I Agree to Terms and Conditions” and then click “Save.”

Do not check “I Agree to Terms and Conditions” until after you have read the terms and conditions. Click “Terms and Conditions” to open them in another tab or window for ease of access.

Once you’re satisfied with the info entered in Step 5, check the box next to “I agree to Terms and Conditions” and then click “Save” to complete your end of the account activation process.


Users

Congratulations on being granted your first Mongotel extension. Now that the hard part (working in a world without Mongotel) is over, let’s move on to the easy stuff: activating your account.

Start by opening the email you used to register for an account with Mongotel. In your inbox, you should see a message entitled “Mongotel Account Activation” sent by Account Services (donotreply@mongopbx.net). Open that email, read it carefully, and click “Activate Now.”

Step 2: Verify your user profile information.

The first page you’ll see after Step 1 is the User Profile window. Double check that your information is correct and make any changes you see fit. Do not forget to add a phone number. This will be your callback contact number in case anything goes wrong with the Mongotel extension.

Step 3: Enter a new password into both password fields.

To ensure that there aren’t any typos in your password, you must enter it twice (once for each field).

Step 4: Check the box next to “I Agree to Terms and Conditions” and then click “Save.”

Once you’re satisfied with the info entered in Step 2, check the box next to “I agree to Terms and Conditions” and then click “Save” to complete your end of the account activation process.
