Quick dials are the Mongotel Softphone version of speed dials.

Using quick dials in the Mongotel Softphone app is a point-and-click level of simplicity. Just click “or tap” the necessary buttons and you’ll be good to go.

Desktop

This process is the same for both Windows and Mac OS desktops.

Here’s how you can use quick dials in the Mongotel Softphone app on either Windows or Mac operating systems.

Step 1: Click “Contacts.”

Step 2: Click the quick dial.

Step 3: Click the `phone icon.

After clicking the phone icon, you should see the following screen in the app:

iPhone

Here’s how you can use quick dials in the Mongotel Softphone app on iOS devices.

Step 1: Tap “Quickdial.”

Step 2: Tap the quick dial.

You should then see the following screen in the app:

Android

In the meantime, here are a few self-service options that might provide an immediate resolution:

Most of the information in the app is saved locally and is not synced between devices. If you save a quick dial on your iPhone, it will not appear on your Mac OS desktop.

Quick dials are saved locally for as long as you remain signed in. You can turn off or restart your device and close the app without fear of deleting your quick dials. But, if you sign out or reset your app (through the Settings menu), all locally saved data on the device will be removed. That includes your quick dials.
